Maris Racal asserted that there was no third party in her breakup with Rico Blanco
Kapamilya actress-singer Maris Racal said that she is the issue in her breakup with singer-songwriter Rico Blanco and no one was involved in their separation.
Maris and Rico’s relationship confirmation in 2021 came as a pleasant surprise for many showbiz fans. They were celebrated for finding love with each other despite their huge age gap. The two celebrities somehow showed that age does not matter in a relationship and because of this, they were admired by many.
However, after a few years of being together, the unexpected separation happened. Maris confirmed that she and Rico broke up.
The actress-singer was emotional as she announced this sad news about the status of their relationship. She also asked the public to respect them and refrain from sharing negative comments on her and on her ex-boyfriend.
Maris Racal also clarified that her loveteam partner Anthony Jennings has nothing to do with her breakup with Rico Blanco. Her onscreen partnership with Anthony started in the series Can’t Buy Me Love and they were known as the SnoRene tandem from their characters’ names.
In her statement confirming her breakup with Rico, based on the article in Balita, Maris stressed that Anthony is out of the picture. “It’s just mainly me and Rico. Mainly me, I’m the issue,” the Kapamilya actress-singer stressed.
On the other hand, Maris did not elaborate on why she was the issue in their separation or the real cause of their breakup. She also said that this would be the last time that she will speak about her breakup with the former Rivermaya band member.
Rico Blanco has not released a statement yet about his breakup with Maris Racal, as of this writing. However, amid the breakup confirmation, he posted a video in which he played the song Kisapmata and this garnered different interpretations from netizens.
