Kapuso actor Xian Lim answered the rumors and speculations surrounding his breakup with Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu.

Xian and Kim confirmed their breakup through their respective Instagram posts in December 2023. However, it was revealed in his recent interview with Esquire that he and Kim officially separated in October last year.

In this interview, Xian made revelations about his breakup with Kim Chiu. He clarified that it was a mutual decision and that there was no third party.

Xian Lim also confirmed that he is dating film producer Iris Lee. It has been quite a while since the rumors linking them romantically circulated online. However, the Kapuso actor revealed that he started seeing Iris after his breakup with Kim.

He also clarified some issues that went out after the breakup confirmation. Xian shared that his friends congratulated him because there was a rumor saying that he got married in New York. “And I’m like, no, I am not married,” he stressed.

The actor also mentioned an “absurd” article about him that he has been living with someone for many years. Xian’s answer to this was, “The only people I live with is my mom, my lola, my lolo. These are the things na, parang, it’s just so absurd and it’s just…why?!”

Xian said that this kind of thing happens in life even though people do not want this to happen, it is inevitable. What pains the actor is that there are people who were dragged into the issue.

The Kapuso actor stressed that he and Iris have a lot on their plate and that the film producer does not deserve all that flak. “We don’t deserve that because all the things na people are saying, there’s no truth to any of it,” Xian Lim said.
