Janella Salvador enjoyed doing a movie with Win Metawin
Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador shared her experience working with Thai actor Win Metawin for the movie Under Parallel Skies.
After taking a break from doing series and movies, Janella made a big comeback. One of the biggest projects given to her this year was an international movie with a Thai leading man.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Janella expressed that it was an honor for her to work with Win.
The Kapamilya actress said that the Thai actor was easy to work with even though there was a language barrier between them. However, it was easy for them to connect because they worked on getting to know each other.
“When we started filming, people ask us a lot if it was awkward or not. But when we started filming, it wasn’t really awkward anymore beause we actually underwent workshops,” Janella Salvador shared.
She also shared that her team flew to Thailand three times just to have intimacy workshops with Win and because of that, when the filming started they were already familiar with each other.
Janella shared that her leading man also did his part in breaking the ice between them. She said that there was one time when Win and his time invited her for dinner. They ate at a Japanese restaurant and they had a fun time talking.
“He was the one who booked it. Also he was nice enough to lend us his van because we didn’t have transpo. He’s really nice and we got along well,” the actress said.
Director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo shared that it was obvious on the set that Janella Salvador and Win Metawin had great chemistry. She also highlighted the importance of the workshops because this helped the two lead stars to have a good connection with each other.
