Did Paolo Contis cry because of what happened to their show?
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis allegedly cried in the dressing room after their show Tahanang Pinakamasaya bid goodbye.
Paolo was one of the main hosts who replaced the TVJ and the legit Dabarkads when they left TAPE Inc. The Kapuso show was previously using the Eat Bulaga title but they were obliged to change it to Tahanang Pinakamasaya because the court gave TVJ the right to use the title that was coined by Henyo Master Joey de Leon.
In a previous article, it was said that Eat Bulaga host Tito Sotto was asked to react to what happened to their rival show. The former senator reportedly refused to comment on this matter.
In a recent episode of veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin’s program, based on the article in Balita, she shared what happened to Paolo Contis after their show’s final airing. She said that the actor rushed to the dressing room and cried.
“Totoong-totoo po na tumakbo agad si Paolo Contis sa dressing room at doon humagulhol. Ayaw po niyang magpakita sa harap ng mga camera sa kaniyang pagluha, sa kaniyang pag-iyak, paghagulhol,” Cristy said.
The columnist added that perhaps the actor was thinking that he would get bashed more because of what happened to their show. Cristy said that Paolo used to have strong attacks.
“Opo. Kumbaga sa away ikaw ‘yong pinakamalakas mambuska, ‘di ba. Noong nasuntok ka, iiyak ka ba? Syempre hindi,” Cristy’s co-host Romel Chika added.
On the other hand, Cristy said that she pitied Paolo because it seemed that amid the issues he would always be the one who was in the front line. With this, the columnist said that it was better that the actor ran to the dressing room immediately so that the public would not see him crying.
Based on Ogie Diaz’s source, Paolo Contis does not want to speak for now about what happened to Tahanang Pinakamasaya.
