A Group of College Students Went Viral for Playing at Kiddy Indoor Park to Heal Their Inner Child

A group of college students were spotted spending their free time playing at a kiddy indoor park in a nearby mall.

A “Kiddy Indoor Park” is a recreational area designed specifically for children to engage in various play activities indoors. These parks typically have colorful and interactive play equipment, such as slides, ball pits, climbing structures, and obstacle courses.

The primary goal of a kiddy indoor park is to provide a safe and entertaining environment where children can explore, socialize, and engage in imaginative play regardless of weather conditions or outdoor limitations.

Recently, Dion “Ada” Adala, a TikTok user, shared a video of himself with his classmates playing at a kiddy indoor park. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and elicited reactions online.

On January 16, 2024, a group of second-year students from the National University-Dasmariñas campus found themselves enjoying a world of nostalgia as they spent their free time playing at a kiddy indoor park in a nearby mall.

Despite the park primarily catering to children, welcomed the group to enter and play, even without accompanying children.

“Nung una po akala namin bawal pumasok since wala kaming kasamang bata pero nag-try pa rin po kami and pinayagan po kami,” Ada said.

The experience of playing in the indoor park allowed these students to momentarily set aside their worries and responsibilities, tapping into the carefree spirit of childhood. It gives them a refreshing break from the demands of university life.

“Tapos ayun na po, in-enjoy na po namin and nag-feeling bata ulit,” Ada added.

For many adults, revisiting places and activities from childhood can serve as a form of healing for the inner child. They were reminded of the importance of finding joy in the little things.
