Kapamilya actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi has this statement addressing the rumors and her alleged relationship with Albee Benitez.
Previously, actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi quoted Miley Cyrus song saying “I can buy myself flower”. But we are all certain that she can buy the whole flower shop or even the whole garden.
This is a post she shared amid rumors of an alleged affair with Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez.
To recall, speculations quickly followed after many people online claimed that they’ve seen the actress and the politician in Japan. The alleged video of Ivana and Albee spread online which seemingly convinced the people that the rumors are true.
However, just recently, the actress-vlogger immediately dismissed the rumors and issued a statement.
She posted a statement, the first and last time she is accordingly going to talk about this matter. In the statement, she stressed that she is not the girlfriend of the Bacolod City Mayor. This is contrary to the rumors circulating online.
In the same statement, she expressed that she was forced to do this as people tried to drag her mother and sister into the issue. She intended to stay silent but her family being affect by this is something she cannot tolerate.
She then went on to explain, “I met him when I had work in Bacolod. He was very accommodating and friendly. At hindi lang siya ang politikong nakilala ko at naging kaibigan.”
To further clarify things, she revealed that her boyfriend is a “respectable businessman and not a politician”.

To recall, it was last year when the actress revealed that she is in a relationship with a non-showbiz guy. She prefers someone who is not from the show business industry as she is afraid things will just get complicated if the relationship becomes public.
