Chris Martin amused concertgoers with his impromptu song
Coldplay held a sold-out concert at the Philippine Arena just recently and one of the most memorable portions of the show was when vocalist Chris Martin shared his impromptu song about the traffic in Manila.
The British rock band has gained worldwide popularity and fans in the Philippines were elated when they announced their concert this year. This is part of the band’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour.
The venue was jam-packed and the concertgoers sang along with the band as they performed their hit songs.
However, there was one song that Chris Martin performed that amused the audience. It was a song about how terrible the traffic in Manila is. TikTok user @loiselxx shared a video featuring the impromptu song by the Coldplay vocalist.
He started strumming his guitar with these words: “Yesterday we sand about Manila and the rain but we’re not gonna sing that song again. There’s only really one thing that remain. The traffic in Manila is completely insane.”
The next lyrics were filled with humor but striking truth as well. Then, he expressed his anticipation to have a concert again in Manila but the traffic still hits differently. When Chris repeated the line, “We can’t wait to play Manila again but the traffic here is completely insane,” the crowd sang along with him.
