Ronaldo Valdez Death – Singer-actor Janno Gibbs, the son of the late veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez, requested the public to respect their privacy.

The veteran actor passed away on Sunday afternoon, December 17. This bad news saddened the entertainment industry. His former co-stars paid tribute to him, like Kathryn Bernardo who remembered the memories she had with the late actor.

Dimples Romana also shared a heartfelt tribute. She recalled how Ronaldo changed her life, and how she views things around her.

Based on the initial report from the Quezon City Police District, Ronaldo Valdez’s cause of death was gunshot wounds on his right and left temple.

On December 18, through an Instagram post, Janno Gibbs confirmed the death of his father. He asked for privacy amid their grieving moment and he also showed appreciation for everyone’s prayer and sympathy.

“It is with great sorrow that i confirm my father’s passing. The family would like to request that you respect our privacy in our grieving moment. Your prayers and condolences are much appreciated,” the singer wrote.

His post received love and sympathy from a lot of celebrities in the Philippine entertainment industry, such as his fellow singers Jaya, Mark Bautista, Vina Morales, and other artists.

Back on November 26, Janno shared a post intended to greet his father for his birthday. In this post, the singer-actor also shared that he has an upcoming project with Ronaldo. It was a movie that Janno directed and was set to be released in 2024.

Happy Bday Papa! What a joy to share the screen [with] you. And such a [privilege] to have directed you. We had fun, [didn’t] we?! Labyu. Our film arrives in cinemas this January,” Janno wrote in the caption of his post.
