MJ Lastimosa and Miss Grand Founder Issue, Friendship Over

Miss Grand International founder Nawat Itsaragrisil slams MJ Lastimosa and minced no words.

Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa received strong words from Miss Grand International founder Nawat Itsaragrisil.

In a previous article, Miss Grand International founder Nawat Itsaragrisil said that Philippine rep Nikki de Moura is the “wrong candidate”. This was his reply to those who aired their dismay as to why the PH representative did not make it to the final 20 of this year’s pageant.

“The problem with you is choosing the wrong candidate to compete, from day one she has a lot of problem/fault. You Filipinos stop blaming me as you have chosen the wrong candidate to compete,” he said.

Following this issue, the founder lashed out at another Pinay beauty queen: Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa.

In a clip that has been circulating online, Nawat slammed MJ for criticizing the Miss Grand International pageant. The lashing out may have stemmed from her interview with transgender beauty queen Maki Gingoyon on YouTube.

MJ asked Maki: “What’s the worst pageant in the Philippines” and the latter responded: “Miss Grand”.

The conversation did not end there. MJ further asked her if the local or international and Maki answered, “Philippines. And International”.

In the live video where he lashed out, he cut ties with her whose sincerity is accordingly questionable. According to him, the former Miss Universe Philippines was all praises for his pageant because of the grand productions.

“And after that, what you say, what is your question? What is your laughing? What is your joking?” Nawat said in the video as if referring to the interview with Maki.

She even asked him for several favors including a ticket for last year’s Miss Grand coronation night.

“I think we are no more, our relationship between MJ and our organization and myself. Don’t come to Miss Grand anymore, okay? We don’t know each other from now [on],” he said.

He added, “I don’t want to meet people like you. It’s below standard. It’s not sincere.”
