Christian Bables and Jennica Garcia talked about their friendship
Actor Christian Bables explained the supposed “ghosting” that he did to actress Jennica Garcia.
Christian and Jennica reunited onscreen through the Kapamilya series Dirty Linen. Through this, the actress had her second chance in showbiz. This was also the chance to have a sort of reconnection because they became friends back in 2016.
At that time, Christian was just a newbie in the entertainment industry. He did a project with Jennica and they easily became close.
During a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Christian Bables said that it was easy for him to bond with Jennica Garcia. “Parang instant connection e. ‘Di ba may iba, medyo magwa-warm up ka pa doon sa tao pero kami [ni Jennica] parang bigla agad tayong naging ok,” the actor shared.
Jennica shared that at that time, she did not feel that Christian was just a newbie in the industry because he was so good. When they were asked what happened to their friendship that started years ago, the actress said that she would like to think that they were really close back then, or she just assumed.
The actor answered that they were indeed close at that time. Then, the actress revealed, “Kaya lang bigla ka lumayo sa akin.” When asked if there was a ghosting that happened, Christian explained.
He said that it was not really ghosting but what he did was out of respect. “Hindi ‘yun paglayo. Pagrespeto? Gusto kong i-lugar ‘yung sarili ko that time. Kasi ayokong makasira ng relationship,” the actor explained.
Christian Bables was talking about the relationship that Jennica Garcia had with her estranged husband Alwayn Uytingco. When asked if he gave way, Christian said that it was not the case.
“Nilugar ko lang ‘yung sarili ko kahit na gustong-gusto kitang [Jennica] i-text non. Naalala ko, I even kept on texting you sa Viber. Oo tinry ko. Noong naramdaman ko na ‘A ok… itong taong ‘to, she wants to keep her family happy intact and healthy,” he said.
Christian also said that he really valued the friendship that he had with Jennica and if he continued getting close to her at that time, he knew there was a possibility that this would be much deeper.
