Enrique Gil is ready to embrace again his solo career
Kapamilya actor Enrique Gil is moving out of his loveteam with actress Liza Soberano and he said that he has already established a solo career even before the onscreen partnership happened.
Liza and Enrique’s loveteam, also known as LizQuen, is one of the most successful loveteams of their generation. For more a decade, they did several projects together and they are loved by their fans even after they announced that their loveteam is taking a break.
However, intrigues also surfaced when they are no longer doiung projects together. Speculations surfaced that in real life, they also ended their relationship.
Amid the breakup speculations, Enrique Gil denied in a recent interview for his showbiz comeback that he and Liza Soberano are no longer together.
The actor was asked if he is ready to have his solo career and out of the shadow of his loveteam with Liza. He stressed that even before the loveteam happened, he was already doing solo projects.
“Well, I started as a solo actor naman talaga, e. I mean, nag-King of the Gil na ako, nag-Araneta na ako, wala pa akong loveteam,” he said. The actor was referring to his concert titled King of the Gil on November 29, 2013 at the Araneta Coliseum.
“I’m used to it, there’s nothing new about it. Nag-take off lang talaga nung nagka-loveteam kami ni Liza, but even before Liza, I was the King of the Gil, right?” Enrique Gil said.
When asked if who among the actresses he wants to work with in his future projects, the actor said that he can work with anybody as he is not being choosy when it comes to this matter.
Enrique was also asked if he is ready to do a project with GMA-7 as previous rumors circulated that a negotation happened between him and the Kapuso network. “Possibly. Yes po, open ako sa lahat,” the Kapamilya actor said.
