Anne Curtis returned to the big screen
Kapamilya actress-host Anne Curtis shared the moment when she decided to have her movie comeback.
Anne has a new movie with A-list actor Jericho Rosales, titled The Loved One. This served as their reunion movie. Their first project together was the series Green Rose, followed by the movie Baler.
Anne’s last movie before her new project with Jericho was way back in 2019. It was the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry The Mall, The Merrier with Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda.
The Kapamilya actress-host shared in a recent ‘LOVEcon,’ the media conference for the movie, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, that Anne Curtis, which made her decide to do this project with Jericho Rosales.
The actress said that she deeply trusts director Irene Villamor because of their strong bond from the projects they made together in the past.
“You know, working with Direk Irene, we get each other’s craziness,” she shared. The actress also shared that there was a time when she sent a message to Direk Irene.
Anne was looking for a more “mature” project that was different from what she had done before.
“It was like one random night, I messaged her, like you know, I’m looking for something a little bit more mature when it comes to telling a story about where love can lead you,” the It’s Showtime host shared.
Anne immediately got a reply from Direk Irene, who said that she has a script prepared for Anne, but it has a “catch.” “May leading man na,” the director told the actress. The latter asked who would be her leading man, and when she learned it was Jericho Rosales, there was no second thought anymore, and she said “yes” to this.
Anne also shared her experience working with Jericho. She said that it has always been easy to share the same frame with the actor.
Meanwhile, the two lead stars were guided by an intimacy coordinator in doing their intimate scenes.
