(Watch) Manny Pacquiao Apologize for His Comments Against Somebody

Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao who is now running for the May 2016 national elections as senator finally apologized on Tuesday night for his unpopular comments against the LGBT community. The Pinoy boxing icon took to Facebook to apologize for his comments calling people in same-s.. relations as “worse than animals.”

The 37-year-old Manny Pacquiao was quoted as saying “I’m sorry for hurting people by comparing homosexuals to animals. Please forgive me for those I’ve hurt,” the boxer-turned-lawmaker said on his Facebook page.

Although the senatorial candidate already apologized he said he still stands on his “because of what the Bible says.”

“I still stand on my belief that I’m against same sex marriage because of what the Bible says, but I’m not condemning LGBT (lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transexuals). I love you all with the love of the Lord. God Bless you all and I’m praying for you,” he said.

Manny Pacquiao is running for a Senate seat under Vice President Jejomar Binay’s United Nationalist Alliance. One of the few celebrities who lambasted Pacquiao for his comments were Vice Ganda and Aiza Seguerra.
