Rabiya Mateo is happy to have a project with her “queen inspiration”
Kapuso actress Rabiya Mateo shared her work dynamics with her queen inspiration Miss World 2013 Megan Young.
Just like Megan, Rabiya also has her beauty queen title. The Ilongga beauty was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2020. Now that Rabiya is a certified contract artist of GMA, she has a chance to work with Megan.
They are now part of the Kapuso primetime series Royal Blood which features Dingdong Dantes as the leading man.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Rabiya Mateo shared how happy she is to have a chance to work with Megan Young. The MUPH 2020 said that she has been very vocal about her admiration for the Starstruck alumna.
This is the reason why she is very happy to have the chance to be with Megan in a project. “So, working with her as a fan, gusto ko ‘yung dynamics namin kasi ‘yung role ko bilang Tasha at siya bilang Diana nagpapataasan. So ‘yung challenge doon, paano ko siya tataasan, e, idol ko nga siya,” Rabiya said.
She also shared that Megan is very generous in sharing ideas with her. Even before being on the set, they were already throwing their lines. Megan would also help her with the script and how to do certain things in a scene. For Rabiya, this is their chemistry.
“And excited ako sa mga scenes namin na padating kasi ‘yung mga tao naloloka, tinginan pa lang namin, kaunting away pa lang namin. Paano pa kaya ‘pag nagpisikalan na kami ni Megan Young?” Rabiya Mateo shared.
Megan shared that she and Rabiya have talked about how the latter messaged her on Twitter and they had a count interaction. Years after that, they are able to have a chance to work with each other.
