PAOLO CONTIS – Kapuso actor and host, Paolo Contis has this to say about the bashing he receives as a father to his daughters.
Among the most controversial personalities in the industry is Kapuso actor and host, Paolo Contis. The issue is nothing about his career, it is about his personal life. His last relationship put him at the center of the spotlight to be the subject of bashing.
He is criticized for allegedly cheating and he is criticized for not being able to provide for his children despite the good pay he receives as an actor.
And recently, in an interview, he expressed that he is already expecting another wave of bashing this weekend as he is about to perform in Eat Bulaga as part of the show’s celebration of Father’s Day.
He has received much bashing for the things he had admitted as a father. And lately, in the program of Cristy Fermin, he has become her subject because of his issues such as not supporting his daughters with LJ Reyes and Lian Paz.
When asked about this, he has this one plea based on a report from PEP, “Pero sana, huwag na lang din isali ang mga bata. Kasi, ako lang naman ang nasa showbiz.”
Paolo has a daughter with LJ named Summer but after their separation, he has not seen her. Summer is in New York and LJ is now engaged to a non-showbiz guy named Philip Evangelista.
Meanwhile, with his ex-wife Lian, he has two daughters with her. They are Xonia and Xalene and in a previous article, Lian shared that they wanted to remove the actor’s last name from their names.
