Dingdong Dantes was asked again if he has plans to join politics
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes has this answer when he was asked if he will run in the 2025 midterm elections.
It is quite a normal thing in the Philippines that showbiz personalities cross over to the world of politics. In many instances, Dingdong has been asked if he has political plans. During the late President Noynoy Aquino’s term, the actor has named the commissioner of the National Youth Commission.
He is not new when it comes to public service. Apparently, there is one of the reasons why supporters are urging him to serve in the government.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Dingdong Dantes said that public service has always been in his heart, as he has stated even before.
“Parati ko namang sinasabi na yung public service is really something that I can find inside my heart, regardles of form. Kung ano man yan, kahit anong paraan ng pagsilbi ay gagawin. Ang tanong na lang kung hanggang saan yung commitment,” the Kapuso star said.
He stressed that he will serve through his work, his career as na actor, and by doing volunteer work from time to time. The actor said that for now, these are the things he can commit.
If he will be asked if he is willing to serve his fellow Filipinos and his country, his answer to this is that he is willing 100 percent. As of writing, no one has talked to him yet regarding the 2025 elections.
When asked if he is willing to entertain the offer if there is, the actor answered with a smile, “Depende kung tapos yung Royal Blood.”
Royal Blood is the upcoming murder mystery series of Dingdong Dantes with Rhian Ramos.
