Father Impregnated Own Minor Daughter After Several Years of Harassing in Talisay City
A father allegedly impregnated his own minor daughter after harassing it for several years in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The Talisay City Police Station in Negros Occidental detained a 32-year-old father for allegedly harassing his 11-year-old daughter for years. Police Lt. Karina Onio, Talisay City’s deputy police chief, asked that the culprit and victim not be identified.
On May 11, they filed a criminal harassment charge against the father, according to Onio. The principal complainant is the victim’s ex-wife and mother. According to the police investigation, the victim’s mother and father divorced when she was seven years old.
The boy and his siblings were left in the care of their father while their mother found work far away. According to the report of Panay News, the mother was unable to communicate for years due to her job.
According to Onio, the victim’s father began assaulting her when she was just seven years old and continued for years. After years of silence, the mother was finally able to contact them, and the victim was able to tell her what her father was doing to her.
The victim and her mother went to the Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD), which resulted in the arrest of the offender. The WCPD also worked with the local Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to get the victim checked out, and it was revealed that the youngster is five months pregnant.
