Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo shared through an Instagram post her Mother’s Day greeting for her mother Mommy Divine Geronimo.

In the world of showbiz, Sarah has an image of b eing an “ulirang anak.” It is known to many that she has become the breadwinner of their family after she won a singing competition on TV.

From that opportunity, the entertainment industry widely opened its doors to her. In her showbiz journey, her parents were always by her side.

However, that gesture of her parents became sparked negative comments. Sarah Geronimo’s fans thought that because of her duty as a daughter, she no longer has the freedom to do what she wants to do.

It is known to many that Mommy Divine and Daddy Delfin were strict, especially when it comes to Sarah’s love life. Eventually, the singer-actress found the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with. She and Matteo Guidicelli got married, but apparently, this was not accepted by her parents.

Despite that conflict, Sarah continued to show her love for her parents, just like what she recently did at her 20th-anniversary concert. She dedicated the song Habang May Buhay to her dad and she was emotional while giving her message to him.

On May 14, as the world is celebrating Mother’s Day, Sarah dedicated an Instagram post to Mommy Divine. The Popstar Royalty shared a throwback photo with her mom and the other one included her dad.

“Superheroes ng buhay ko. I love you nanay at tatay ko. Happy Mother’s day po mama. Walang hanggan po na pasasalamat para sa walang katumbas na pag-aaruga at pagmamahal,” Sarah Geronimo wrote in the caption of her post.
