Gabbi Garcia talked about her boyfriend’s recent stints
Kapuso actress-host Gabbi Garcia shared her reaction that her longtime boyfriend Khalil Ramos received from Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza.
Gabbi and Khalil are very supportive of each other’s endeavors in the entertainment industry. There was never a time that their showbiz projects became a rivalry, instead, they celebrate each other’s success and milestones.
In a recent interview with Kapuso entertainment reporter Aubrey Carampel on 24 Oras, Gabbi shared that Khalil is very supportive of her new hosting job. She will serve as the journey host for the new season of The Voice Kids, which premieres on Sunday, September 13.
In fact, Khalil even served as Gabbi’s personal photographer at the recent media conference for the singing competition.
“Wala akong na-book na shooter, e may kailangan akong content. Sabi ko, ‘Sorry wala na talaga akong ma-shoot.’ Sabi niya, ‘Sige na, ako na.’ Gumising siya ng 8 a.m. para samahan ako kahit puyat s’ya. Very, very supportive talaga s’ya,” she shared.
Gabbi also takes pride in the sense of security she feels with Khalil. “He isn’t a loud person. Our love is not loud. It’s quiet, but it’s secure,” the actress shared.
Beyond being a sweet and caring boyfriend, Gabbi also admires Khalil’s acting and work ethic, making her proud whenever she hears positive feedback about him.
One of the people who praised Khalil was Barbie Forteza. To recall the Kapuso Primetime Princess described Khalil as an “ideal leading man.” Her statement even became controversial as she said, “Finally, nagkaroon na ko ng leading man na maayos,” when she was asked about her experience working with Khalil.
Khalil and Barbie previously starred together in the 2026 romantic-comedy film Saving Cherry. They are set to reunite in the upcoming series Honor Thy Mother, a collaboration between Prime Video, GMA, and ABS-CBN Studios, and also starring Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
“I’ve nothing but praises for him. I’m super, super proud. Talagang walang question yun. I’m happy that I’m able to share him with other people kasi he really is a great guy,” Gabbi Garcia said about her boyfriend.
