PAG-IBIG CASH LOAN REQUIREMENTS 2026 – Here are the documents that overseas Filipino workers (OFW) members of the Fund should submit to apply.
Many Filipinos are members of the Pag-IBIG Fund. The membership base of this government-run institution includes not only those Pinoys who are living in the Philippines but as well as overseas Filipino workers.

Being part of the Pag-IBIG Fund is undeniably a practical way to save money while also preparing for the unwanted but inevitable and unexpected financial needs. The members of the state-run entity have an access to several loan programs.
One of the most flexible loan offers of the Pag-IBIG Fund is the Multi-Purpose Loan. It is a cash loan designed to help members cover personal expenses such as car repairs, business expansion, travel, or other financial needs.

To qualify for the loan offer, the applicants must meet specific Pag-IBIG cash loan requirements. It outlined different sets of requirements depending on whether the applicant is locally employed, self-employed, or an OFW.

It’s important to note that a member may borrow up to 80% of their total regular savings in the Fund. The borrowed amount is payable for up to 36 months.

- Active membership with at least one (1) monthly membership savings within the last six (6) months before applying
- At least twenty-four (24) monthly membership savings under the Pag-IBIG Regular Savings program
- No Pag-IBIG Housing Loan, MPL, or Calamity Loan in default
- A reliable source of income
For OFW members, the Pag-IBIG cash loan requirements include the following documents:
- Duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan Application Form
- Photocopy of one (1) valid ID, which may be any of the following:
- Passport
- Driver’s License
- National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
- Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
- Police Clearance
- Voter’s ID
- Postal ID
- Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) e-Card
- Senior Citizen Card
- Barangay Certification or Barangay IDs
- Social Security System (SSS) Card
- Overseas Filipino Worker ID
- Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) ID
- Alien Certification of Registration/Immigrant Certificate of Registration
- Certification from the National Council for the Welfare of Disabled Persons (NCWDP)
- Seaman’s Book or Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB)
- Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Certification
- Government Office and GOCC ID
- Integrated Bar of the Philippines ID
- Company ID
- Philippine Identification (PhilID) Card
- Employment Contract
- Photocopy of the Employment Contract between employee and employer, or original copy of the POEA Standard Contract
- Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
- CEC written on the Employer; or
- CEC signed by employer supported by a photocopy of the employer’s ID and passport
- Original copy of Income Tax Return filed with the host government or country
