Kapamilya action star Coco Martin received a “thank you” message from actress Iwa Moto, and here’s the reason behind this.
Coco is one of the most admired stars of his generation. Before his breakthrough to mainstream, he was known as the “Prince of Indie Films.”
Through ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, he was able to shift to mainstream television. His popularity skyrocketed when he was paired with his now-partner actress Julia Montes in the series Tayong Dalawa in 2009.
After that, he was given projects that established his showbiz image as a leading man. He even got more famous through his action series such as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano (2015-2022), FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (2023-2026), and his current series Sigabo.
With these successful projects, his fandom grew, and one of his fans was the son of Iwa Moto. The StarStruck alum shared a post on her Instagram page showing a message from Coco Martin for her son, JC or Caleb Jiro, with her longtime partner Pampi Lacson.
“Thank you @cocomartin_ph [red heart emoji] sobrang saya ng anak ko. Continue to be an inspiration to everyone. God bless [red heart emojis],” Iwa wrote in the caption of her post.
In the video, Coco said hi to his young fan and gave a short message. On the other side of the video, CJ was seen smiling and getting giddy about the message he got from the actor he admires.
When Iwa asked his son who that was, CJ mentioned “Panday.” To recall, Coco Martin starred in Ang Panday back in 2017.
In the comment section of Iwa Moto’s Instagram post, many netizens shared their happy reaction to the sweet gesture that the Kapamilya actor did for his young fan. “Ay iba na talaga pag anak ng celebrity ang lakas kay papa coco martin. Ang saya ng bagets,” a netizen commented.
