4PS REQUIREMENTS 2026 – Here is a guide on the qualifications and the documents required in applying for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program.
The Philippines has several anti-poverty programs. One of the biggest programs launched to fight poverty is the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or more commonly known as 4Ps. This program is managed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The DSWD leads several programs designed to support poor Filipino families in different circumstances. Among its cash assistance programs are the following:
- DSWD Medical Cash Aid
- DSWD Educational Cash Aid
- DSWD Transportation Cash Aid
- DSWD Food Cash Aid
- DSWD Funeral Cash Aid

In addition to the above-mentioned offers of the social welfare department, the DSWD also leads the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). This program provides financial support to poor Filipino families with children in school.

Who can apply for the 4Ps? The 4Ps requirements include both qualifications and documents that must be prepared and submitted.
Qualifications for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program:
- Member of one of the communities with the lowest average income based on the SAE from 2003
- Member of a family with a combined income equal to or below the provincial poverty threshold
- With children aged 0 to 18 years old, or a pregnant family member after evaluation
Documents required for application:
- Copies of birth certificates of all family members
- Copies of school IDs or first grading period report cards of all children attending school
- Barangay certificate or certificate from the municipality
- Valid IDs of the family member attending the community assembly
- Two 1×1 pictures with white background
- Copy of health records of family members aged 0–5 from the health center where they undergo check-ups
Under the anti-poverty program, the amount of cash assistance depends on the family’s situation. The support provided includes both an education grant and a health grant.
