Salvador Panelo had this strong pronouncement about Robin Padilla
Former Presidential Spokesperson Atty. Salvador Panelo declared that Senator Robin Padilla will be the next president.
From day one when he decided to enter the political arena, Padilla has been receiving negative comments from his critics. Many Filipinos were surprised when he ran for Senator in 2022. What was more surprising for many was that he became the number one Senator at that time.
The criticism of him continued with his controversial statements and his political affiliation. Padilla is an ally of the Dutertes. He has been very vocal in defending former President Rodrigo Duterte and Vice President Sara Duterte.
These past few days, Sen. Robin Padilla received bashing because of his statements during the impeachment trial of VP Sara. Some critics would point out his knowledge about the law.
Based on the post from Batas PH, which apparently came from a recent interview on SMNI, Salvador Panelo had a strong statement about the actor-politician.
It was said that Panelo defended Padilla against his bashers who had been criticizing him over his qualifications, stressing that he is not fit to be a senator.
Panelo stressed that back in 2022, when Padilla ran for Senator, he topped the senatorial race. The former Presidential Spokesperson also declared that if Vice President Sara Duterte will not run for president in 2028 for whatever reason, he would support Padilla as the next President of the Philippines.
The post included an art card featuring Panelo’s statement. “Pag hindi tumakbo si Inday Sara for whatever reason, papatakbuhin natin si Robin Padilla. Siya ang susunod na presidente. Tandaan niyo ‘yung sinabi ko. Magiging presidente ‘yan,” Panelo said.
Meanwhile, Padilla recently shared a clip with Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia, after the latter received criticism and was accused of being A “DDS” or die-hard Duterte supporter.
