David Licauco was asked about his love life
Kapuso actor David Licauco has been avoiding talking about his rumored non-showbiz girlfriend Alex Manalang.
David had his breakout role in the series Maria Clara at Ibarra as Fidel. Because of this, he earned the moniker Pambansang Ginoo. His onscreen chemistry with Kapuso Primetime Queen Barbie Forteza was commendable, and because of this, they did several projects together.
Some BarDa fans were shipping the two Kapuso stars, but they were vocal about not going to the next level. A friendship was form between them.
Previously, it was rumored that David Licauco has a non-showbiz girlfriend. There had been photos of him with the rumored special girl in her life.
In a recent event, based on article in Bandera, David Licauco’s rumored relationship with Alex Manalang has been the subject of much discussion for a long time because they have been spotted together several times at events they attend.
Despite his super busy schedule, David admitted that he still has time for his personal life, including dating. “Siyempre naman. Lahat naman tayo, kayo ba wala?” the actor enthused.
Then, David was asked about Alex Manalang, as they were spotted together several times, including the time when they attended a wedding and in Siargao last August, 2025. “Meron ba? Ah, talaga? Baka hindi ako yun,” the Kapuso actor said.
When asked if he is willing to talk about his love life, David said, “Hindi masyado… oo, dapat private. Always naman private.”
On the other hand, he is somehow aware of the writeups about him and Alex. “Minsan, minsan. Sine-send sa akin ng mga friends ko. Pero, I mean wala naman. Dedma lang,” she shared.
Then, David Licauco stressed that he prefers not shared this aspect of his life. “I choose not to talk about my personal life. What you see is what you get,” he said.
