Jerald Napoles Fires Back After Netizen Mocks Him Over Threat Post

Jerald Napoles Responds After Being Called Afraid for Exposing Threat

JERALD NAPOLES – A social media post by Jerald Napoles recently caught public attention after the actor shared an alarming message allegedly sent by an online user.

Actor-comedian Jerald Napoles recently called for responsible social media use after sharing a private message from a netizen who allegedly not only cursed at him but also threatened him with violence. In a screenshot posted by Jerald, a social media user identified as “Carl Miguel” sent the message: “Taena ka wag ka nga mag movie movie ng ngo² taena mo ka makita lang kita grigripu-han kita.”

The term “grigripuhan” is a colloquial expression commonly associated with stabbing or causing harm using a sharp object, making the message alarming to many online users.

Despite the threatening tone of the message, Jerald chose not to respond with anger or harsh words. Instead, he replied calmly and politely.

According to the screenshot, this was his response:

“Hi! Thank you for reaching out. Let me try to get back to you as soon as I can.”

Many social media users praised the actor’s composed reaction. Jerald has recently been appearing in the film “Love, Ngo,” which has also become a topic of online discussion.

His wife and fellow comedian Kim Molina also expressed concern regarding such messages directed at public figures.

“Messages like this are alarming and should never be normalized. Criticism is one thing, but threatening physical harm is another.”

She further emphasized the importance of maintaining respectful discussions online, reminding users that there are real people behind social media accounts.

“Let’s keep discussions respectful and remember that behind every screen is a real person.”

However, not everyone agreed with their decision to publicize the incident. In the comments section of Kim’s post, one netizen criticized Jerald for allegedly making a big issue out of a minor matter.

“Weird, takot yarn???? Jerald Napoles liit na bagay pinost mu pa,” the netizen wrote.

Jerald later explained that threats like these could be grounds for legal action because they may serve as evidence of a possible crime. However, instead of filing charges, he preferred to educate the individual.

“Ikaw may bitaw ka ba?” the actor said.
