Mark Herras Shares Truth Behind His Viral Crying Moment
MARK HERRAS – A shocking and emotional moment from Mark Herras quickly spread across social media, leaving many asking what really happened.
Kapuso actor Mark Herras has finally broken his silence regarding his viral crying video, where he appeared emotional and seemingly burdened by personal struggles. In a recent guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, he candidly explained the real reason behind the clip that quickly circulated online.
According to Mark, the video was not connected to financial or work-related issues but stemmed from a deeply personal matter involving his wife, Nicole Donesa. He admitted that he experienced a breakdown after a misunderstanding between them.
“Wala siyang connection with money, with work. So, it’s a personal issue na kailangan ko siyang gawin, kailangan ko siyang i-post, just to vent out,” he shared as he began his explanation.
The actor revealed that he occasionally deals with depression, and posting on social media has become one of his outlets to release bottled-up emotions. Despite this, he emphasized that he does not usually share such vulnerable moments publicly.
“Again my explanation is, hindi ko siya inilabas just to get sympathy from people. Never naman ako nagpo-post ng mga ganyan talaga Tito Boy. I don’t really post things like that.
“But recently, wala akong nakakausap na talagang, ‘May problema ako,’ ganu’n. Kasi nga, busy ako with work, busy ako, kailangang maghanap ng trabaho, busy ako sa family,” said Mark.
He went on to explain that during arguments with his wife, he chooses to leave the house temporarily to avoid escalating the situation.
“So, noong nangyari ito, nagkaroon kami ng away ni misis. Meron kaming ugali na para hindi na lumaki ‘yung away, aalis na lang ako ng bahay.
“Para hindi kayo magbungangaan, ‘yung mga bata, kawawa naman,” he said.
However, the thought of being away from his children, Corky and Mina, deeply affected him. The moment he stepped into the bathroom, memories of his kids came rushing back, triggering his emotional breakdown.
“Being a dad na alam kong mahihiwalay ako sa kanila for… hindi alam kung ilang days, ilang weeks, nag-breakdown ako Tito Boy. ‘Yan ‘yung reason kung ba’t ako umiiyak,” he said.
Mark concluded by expressing his inner conflict between staying to avoid missing his children and leaving to prevent further arguments.
“Kumbaga dapat ba, hindi ako aalis ng bahay para hindi ko sila ma-miss, pero, parang ‘yung issue namin dalawa ng asawa ko na, kung hindi ako aalis dito, bangayan, bangayan, na ayoko na lang ng ganu’ng stress sa buhay,” said Mark.
