Charlie Fleming and Shuvee Etrata are cast members of the new series of Dingdong Dantes
Kapuso actresses Charlie Fleming and Shuvee Etrata shared their experience working with Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
Dingdong is the lead actor of the new Kapuso series The Master Cutter. The last TV series that he did was Royal Blood back in 2023. In this new series, actor Paolo Contis portrays the villain who would bring challenges to the life of Dingdong’s character.
Previously, Paolo expressed excitement to work with Dingdong, aside from the fact that he misses doing “kontrabida” roles.
In a recent interview on the Kapuso afternoon showbiz talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Shuvee Etrata and Charlie Fleming, who are also part of the new Kapuso series, shared what it was like working with Dingdong Dantes in this project.
Shuvee admitted to King of Talk Boy ABunda that she felt intimidated by the husband of Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
“Kasi Tito Boy, sobrang crush ko dito si Atoy, which is played by Kuya Dingdong Dantes. At first, I was always intimidated sa set with him. Pero, oh my gosh Tito Boy, sobrang bait ni Kuya Dong,” the Cebuana beauty shared.
However, the seasoned actor made sure that the cast members were comfortable, so he would visit them in their tents, and he would bring food for them.
Charlie also had positive words for the actor whom she calls her “Kuys”. They became like siblings on the set of the TV series. “Just like sa character ko po with him, very Kuya po ‘yung dynamics namin kasi magkabarangay lang po kami,” Charlie shared.
The actress also shared that in the series, Dingdong’s character stood as their Kuya in their community.
The Master Cutter is set to premiere on the primetime block of GMA-7 beginning this May.
