Seasoned comedienne Pokwang asserted that it is her right to demand a talent fee increase.
Pokie has been in the industry for many years already. She first came to fame as part of the Kapamilya network, doing comedy shows and movies. However, in 2021, she made a major career move.
The seasoned comedienne officially signed a contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center that year. From that, she was given an opportunity to have her own show, the morning variety show TiktoClock with veteran TV host Kuya Kim Atienza.
However, in November 2025, it was noticeable that Pokwang was no longer appearing on the show. Then, a blind item circulated about a showbiz personality who chose to leave a show because the talent fee demand was not fulfilled.
In her statement, Pokie admitted that she was the subject of the blind item and that it was true that she demanded a talent fee increase, as she pointed out that prices of commodities increase and her finances were the main reason for this.
However, the management of the show did not grant her request, and with this, she chose to leave the show and focused on her food bonus.
In a recent interview on TicTALK with Aster Amoyo, an online show on YouTube, Pokie talked about her decision to leave the show.

She once again mentioned her demand to increase her talent fee, and for her, it is her right to ask for this.
“I’ve been on the show for over three years at karapatan ko naman siguro na mag-request ng karagdagan sa talent fee ko,” she explained, and this was apparently magnified when it was released to the media.
After that, Pokwang chose not to renew her contract with the show. On the other hand, it was unclear if the comedienne is still under the management of the Kapuso network.
