Currently, DonBelle is one of the strongest love teams in the industry, and here’s why Shuvee Etrata apologized to their fans.
Just like many people, Kapuso artist Shuvee Etrata is also a fan of Donny Pangilinan, and during her time inside the Pinoy Big Brother house, he became a house guest. She was getting all the kilig while he was still inside Kuya’s house, and, at one point, she went viral as many could relate to how she reacted when she saw her idol.
However, recently, she found herself embroiled in controversy after appearing too giddy during a chance encounter with Donny.
Fans of the duo, known as Bubblies, didn’t take it lightly. Criticism quickly poured in—some called it “pa-cute,” others said she seemed too eager, and a few even went as far as accusing her of trying to grab Donny’s attention.
Etrata, clearly no stranger to such remarks, remained unfazed and simply brushed it off with a laugh.
She then explained that her reaction was just purely because of being a fan. She apologized to the fans, stressing that the actor is someone she admires, with no deeper meaning attached to it.
The Kapuso star also encouraged fans to show respect when making comments online and to keep supporting their idols with love. She emphasized the importance of choosing words carefully and pointed out that even though some comments meant well, they can still sometimes cause harm.
Taking responsibility for her actions, she assured that she would be more mindful of her reactions moving forward and clarified that she had no intention of overstepping boundaries as a fan. Ultimately, she urged everyone to promote positivity and kindness within the community.
