Grade 2 Student Bags Numerous Medals During Elementary Recognition Day in School
A Grade 2 student recently captured hearts online after receiving an astonishing 33 medals during his school’s Elementary Recognition Day.
Recently, a Facebook user named Jane Signo, a proud parent, shared photos of her son, Daniel Elijah B. Signo, being awarded the medals. The post quickly went viral, with many netizens applauding the young boy for his remarkable achievements.
On March 23, 2026, the ceremony held at the General Trias Convention Center was filled with cheers and applause as Daniel’s name was called. It was a moment of joy not only for his family but also for his teachers, classmates, and fellow parents.

Daniel’s accomplishments stood out because he received 33 in total, a rare achievement at such a young age. His mother shared that the family felt immense gratitude for his accomplishments and for the blessings they have received.
Although naturally shy, Daniel’s family felt the overwhelming support and excitement from everyone present, which made the moment even more memorable.
“Sobrang saya po and thankful, lalo na kay Lord. Pag-akyat ng stage, mahiyain kaming pamilya pero lahat po mga kids, teachers, kapuwa parents nagtilian at sigawan. Ramdam po namin ang suporta,” Signo said.

The recognition didn’t stop there. Daniel is also set to receive several international medals in the near future, showing his dedication and hard work in various activities. His parents expressed their heartfelt message to Daniel, emphasizing their love and support.
The family encouraged him to always stay humble, continue pursuing his interests, and give thanks to God for the blessings he has received.

“Daniel anak, mahal na mahal ka namin ni Daddy mo, palagi kaming nakasuporta sa’yo, anong makahiligan mong gawin na alam namin para sa ikabubuti mo. Always stay humble and continue praying kay God para magpasalamat sa lahat ng biyaya sa’yo,” she added.
