Kapamilya actress Kaila Estrada asked the public to be more discerning on social media.
Kaila is gaining popularity because of how she showcased her acting prowess in projects that she has been doing. With this, she was able to establish her name in the entertainment industry, outside the shadow of her parents, actress Janice de Belen and actor John Estrada.
Among her recent acting projects is the Kapamilya primetime series What Lies Beneath. During the recent finale media conference, based on the article in PEP, Kaila shared her thoughts on dealing with fake news, especially since she is a celebrity.
The actress stressed that it is also important for people to have discernment on what they see and read on social media. For her, it is vital to check or do research before believing something on their social media feed.
“I feel like as consumers din and being online all the time, I think we also have to practice discernment,” Kaila Estrada said.
She’s aware that there is a lot of false information or fake news online, so it is just right for people to be more responsible and discerning when it comes to what they consume online.
The actress also stressed that it is important to validate the source of the information. She reminded everyone not to be quick in judging someone just based on what they saw, heard, or read on social media.
“I think, that’s important—not to jump to conclusions or judge to quickly without verifying information,” Kaila Estrada said.
Meanwhile, aside from her acting career, Kaila’s personal life is also vibrant because of her relationship with Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla. The actress recently had a birthday celebration, and the actor serenaded her. Daniel also joined Kaila’s family for a meal.
