Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez admitted that she was challenged by her recent movie project, Midnight Girls.
Sanya has come a long way in the entertainment industry. From doing supporting roles, she is now one of the most in-demand leading ladies of the Kapuso network. Over the years, she has proven that she deserves her own spot in showbiz.
Her most recent project gave her a challenge. In this movie, she played another woman-empowering role.
Recently, the first teaser of the upcoming film Midnight Girls was released, featuring Sanya Lopez, Jodi Sta Maria, Loisa Andalio, and Jane Oineza.

In an interview, the Kapuso actress shared her preparations for her challenging role, and this included taping in Japan and working with the other cast members of the film.
“Mag-aral kung paano mag-Japanese, isa ‘yon. At the same time, siyempre working with them,” she shared, that she adjusted and tried what she could at first, with the intention of getting to know her co-stars, who are all from the Kapamilya network, and how they work.
“Pero grabe, iba sila makasama. Super nag-enjoy din ako. Ang galing ng lahat, talagang kailangan ko ring galingan,” Sanya revealed.
Before making this movie, the Kapuso actress was already known for her empowering roles on TV and movies. Her characters resonated with empowerment, such as Allyson in Playtime, Teresita Borromeo in Pulang Araw, Yaya Melody in First Yaya, and Hara Urduja in Mga Lihim ni Urduja.
