According to him, it happened years ago, and he deeply regretted the betrayal he committed behind his wife’s back.
After Nikko’s confession, Cielo Eusebio, his wife, released an official statement addressing the supposed private matter that has turned into a highly publicized one. According to her, it happened years ago, and she had chosen to forgive him for the sake of their family.
Many questioned her decision to stay and still choose him, with some even crossing the boundaries by sending her personal messages. While she can understand the concern, what was more concerning for her was how these people, who are not involved, reacted in a way that was unnecessary.
In a new post, she addressed these kinds of comments, defending her decision to forgive her husband, as she felt compelled to speak out after facing intense criticism online. She expressed that she is frustrated over why many people seemed deeply affected by her personal choice.
She pointed out that outsiders only see a small portion of their real lives and do not fully understand what their family has gone through. She added that saving their marriage was not a sign of weakness. She could leave if she wanted to, but she remained with him. This is the path she chose.
The incident happened years ago, and they have already tried to move forward from it. Cielo did not deny the deep pain the betrayal caused her, recalling that at one point, she even recalled shouting and breaking a picture frame while releasing her anger out of pain.
However, she stressed that while her husband acknowledges his wrongdoing, it does not mean he should live in misery forever.
Cielo wrote, “Wag nyo na pahirapan yung sitwasyon na hindi kayo kasali. Isipin nyo na ang gusto nyo isipin pero sarilinin nyo nalang at maging mabuti kayo sa kapwa nyo kahit nagkamali lalo at hindi naman sa inyo may kasalanan.”
