Bela Padilla Says “I feel like I can die now,” Here’s Why

Bela Padilla gushed over her new project

Kapamilya actress Bela Padilla said in a recent video that she can now die, and here is the reason behind this.

Bela is one of the most successful actresses of her generation. She is more than just an actress, as she also showcased her talent when it comes to writing and directing. The multi-faceted celebrity continues to do what she loves, and her most recent acting project is her reunion movie with actor Carlo Aquino titled A Special Memory.

In a recent interview on KC After Hours, based on the article in Bandera, Bela talked about having the chance to work in the movie written by National Artist for Films and Broadcast Arts and award-winning iconic scriptwriter Ricky Lee.

The story of “A Special Memory” revolves around two people who fought, but the story took a twist and turn when Bela’s character was struck by early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.

During the interview, broadcast journalist Karmina Constantino, the host of KC After Hours, asked Bela Padilla, “Tell me about, I don’t know if you would call it pressure or were you hard on yourself, when you knew it was one of your mentors who wrote this character?”

The actress was overwhelmed by this. “I loved it. Best script ever I’ve read in a while. I feel like I can die now. Parang ito na ‘yon, ito na ‘yong pinaka-peak ng career ko. Nasulatan ako ng script ni Sir Ricky Lee,” she said.

With the desire to emulate the award-winning writer, Bela highlighted the achievements of Ricky Lee and the beautiful films he wrote.

Back in 2017, Bela was one of the participants who attended the screenwriting classes of the National Artist. For the actress, joining the workshop was the best time of her life. “I felt like I was in summer camp but for adults and I learned so much. I watched the best films,” Bela Padilla shared.
