Tuesday Vargas Calls Out Willie Revillame Over Controversial On-Air Gesture
TUESDAY VARGAS – A viral clip from Wilyonaryo has caught the attention of Tuesday Vargas, who expressed unease over Willie Revillame’s reaction during an on-air mishap.
Comedian Tuesday Vargas expressed concern over the actions of Willie Revillame during a recent episode of the game show Wilyonaryo, after a dancer-host mistakenly delivered a line on air.
The incident happened when dancer-host Elay accidentally said the wrong word while delivering her scripted line during the program. Instead of saying “ticket,” she mistakenly uttered a similar-sounding word that caused laughter among viewers and those present in the studio.

During the segment, Elay enthusiastically greeted viewers and invited them to watch the show. She said, “Happy Thursday, everyone! Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao! Hawakan na ang mga titi… hawakan na ang mga ticket at tumutok sa Wilyonaryo!” The slip of the tongue quickly drew reactions, but many initially saw it as a harmless on-air mistake.
However, Vargas later took to Facebook on Friday, March 6, to share her thoughts about what she observed during the episode. According to the comedian, it was not the verbal slip that bothered her the most.
“Hindi ako nabahala sa ‘Hawakan ang mga ’ Nabahala ako sa sinabi nung main host at nang mwestra pa na parang mananampal ng babae sabay sabi ‘hahampasin kita dyan eh,’” said Tuesday.
She further urged people to review the footage of the moment, suggesting that the host’s reaction raised more serious concerns than the accidental remark.
“Kelan at sino ba ang nagsabi na normal gawin yan? Reviewhin nyo yung footage.”

“Wilyonaryo” is Revillame’s newest television program, which premiered after his previous show Wil To Win. The program also marks his return to television following his bid in the 2025 Philippine Senate election, where he ran for a senatorial seat but was unsuccessful.
Despite the rebranded format and fresh start for the show, some viewers have continued to notice moments where Revillame scolds or reprimands members of his staff on air. These incidents have occasionally sparked discussions online among fans and critics alike.
As the clip continues to circulate on social media, netizens remain divided, some dismissing the moment as part of the show’s spontaneous nature, while others echo Vargas’ concern about the tone and gestures displayed during the broadcast.
