Coco Martin received an accusation from Rod Navarro Jr.
Kapamilya Primetime King Coco Martin chose not to speak about the issue raised by actor Rod Navarro Jr., who became part of the teleserye FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
Coco has been showcasing actors and actresses from different generations on his shows. He would also hire newbies and returning actors and actresses to give them a chance in the entertainment industry.
There had been instances where celebrities would openly praise and thank the Kapamilya Primetime King for his help and effort to give jobs to many artists, as well as for the people behind the camera.
However, this was not the case for Rod Navarro Jr. In his social media post, Rod claimed that Coco Martin mistreated him on the set of the Kapamilya series.
Allegedly, Coco cursed at him and debunked a past interview in which the Kapamilya actor-director said that there were people who received help but refused to be thankful.
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz defended Coco from this accusation. Actor McCoy de Leon also shared a post highlighting his personal wonderful experience working with Coco.
In a recent interview, based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Coco had a smooth way of evading the question about the issue raised by Rod Navarro Jr.
“Hindi, alam mo naman, sabi ko nga, wala nang time para anuhin yang mga bagay na yan. Nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng mga tao, sa lahat ng mga artistang nakatrabaho ko. Para sa kanilang lahat ito,” Coco said.
Meanwhile, the Kapamilya actor recently confirmed that FPJ’s Batang Quiapo will soon bid goodbye in March this year. However, he will have an upcoming project with his longtime girlfriend, actress Julia Montes. This one is a primetime series titled Sigabo, and this made CocoJul fans so excited.
