Coco Martin was accused of having this behavior on the set
Actor Rod Navarro Jr. accused FPJ’s Batang Quiapo Coco Martin of mistreating him on the set of the Kapamilya series.
In his Facebook post, Rod, the son of the late 70s actor Rod Navarro, shared a video of Coco’s interview on the YouTube channel of Kapamilya host Bianca Gonzalez.
During the interview, Coco said he has helped a lot of showbiz personalities through his projects, but some were not thankful and refused to give value to the opportunity given to them.
Coco’s shows are known for featuring veteran stars, actors, and actresses who aspire for another shot in the entertainment industry, and even newbies who want to establish their careers.
In Rod Navarro Jr’s caption, he slammed Coco Martin. He said that the Kapamilya primetime king mistreated him. Allegedly, because of this, his confidence was gone.
“Bakit di mo ikwento kung ano naging trato nyo sakin sa Set na minumura pinahihiya ng mga Direktor mo kahit maayus nmn ang trabaho ko at maayus ang aking Arte,” Rod said.
He also stressed that the viewers can attest to his acting, and mentioned that it was his father who taught the late Da King Fernando Poe Jr.
Rod Jr also said that this was the reason why he is working so hard to prove to Coco that he was wrong in putting him down. “Pinagbigyan na kita sa Interview without my consent mo kay Mama Ogie na halos gawin mo kami katatawanan mag Ama sinabi mo binigyqn moko mahabang role ? Asan ? at kahuli hilihang tanong ko binayaran mo ba ako ng tama at pang artista?” Rod also said.
He added that Coco Martin should not pretend that they did not know each other because it was he who assisted the Kapamilya primetime king when he went up on stage at the 72nd FAMAS awards, and he was allegedly drunk.
Rod Navarro Jr. also apologized to Coco’s fans, but he will reveal his supposed true character. As of this writing, the Kapamilya actor has not released a statement yet regarding this accusation.
