Kylie was asked about the issue during the media conference for her upcoming film, “The Lotto Winners,” where entertainment reporters brought up the circulating political buzz. Senator Padilla’s name had previously surfaced as one of the possible running mates of Vice President Sara Duterte should she decide to run for President in 2028. Speculation intensified after discussions suggested that he might consider the bid if urged by former President Rodrigo Duterte.
When pressed for her thoughts, Kylie responded with humor. In a video clip reported by News 5 on Tuesday, February 24, she laughingly said, “Aalis na ‘ko ng Pilipinas.”
She repeated her playful remark, saying, “No reaction, but… aalis na ‘ko ng Pilipinas!” Her lighthearted tone drew amusement from those present, but she maintained the same stance when asked directly whether she supports her father’s political career.
“Aalis na po ako ng Pilipinas… iyon lang po ang comment ko,” she answered, still smiling.
Despite her teasing responses, Kylie eventually clarified her position and expressed trust in her father. Shifting her tone, she added, “Hindi, ano lang naman, I trust in my father’s judgment, ‘yon lang.”
