Coco Martin Defended By Ogie Diaz Against Rod Navarro Jr’s Accusation

Ogie Diaz shared a post about this issue being thrown at Coco Martin

Talent manager and vlogger Ogie Diaz defended FPJ’s Batang Quiapo actor against the accusation from actor Rod Navarro, Jr.

Rod had a short stint in the Kapamilya primetime action drama series in which Coco is not just the lead star but also the director.

Previously, Rod aired his dismay about Coco. The former accused the actor-director of mistreating him. Allegedly, Coco would shout and curse at him. Rod’s complaint came after Coco’s statement in an interview that some people do not value the help given to them.

Rod contradicted the Kapamilya primetime king. He said that he was taken out of the series just because of one mistake. Rod also claimed that there was cursing, and he was threatened. He added that even other members of the production team insulted him.

Hindi ka Totoo maling mali kwento mo di maganda pananalita mo kaya di ako tumanggap ng tulong mula sayo dahil ang sabi mo isang pagkakamali ko lang eh tanggal ako at kapag di ko napalago eh wag na tayo mag uusap may mura pa na kasama ang banta,” Rod said in his post.

In a recent Facebook post, Ogie Diaz defended Coco Martin. In Ogie’s lengthy post, based on the article in Bandera, he said that he wanted to ask a lot of questions to Rod.

“Paano kang minura at minaltrato sa set ng ‘Batang Quiapo’ kung nag-message ka sa akin dahil gusto mong magpainterbyu para makapagpasalamat kay Coco sa kabutihan nito sa yo?” Ogie said.

Then, the talent manager took notice of the time when Rod shared his post, and it was 4:20 AM. With this, Ogie asked if he hadn’t slept yet, or if he just woken up, or if he was suffering from depression.

Then Ogie pointed out that Coco does not know Rod personally, and the latter just approached the Kapamilya actor, and he was given a chance to be part of Batang Quiapo.

It was said that Coco wanted Rod to be a marshal when he is not working to oversee things on the set, and that the Kapamilya actor even offered the latter a business.

Ogie shared that Coco just wanted to see a clear business plan so that his P100,000 would not be put to waste.

The talent manager-vlogger also said that Coco Martin was the one helping Rod Navarro Jr., but allegedly that latter did not appreciate that.
