After being mentioned by Alvin Aragon, Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro expressed no reaction when it made a loud buzz online.
“StarStruck” alum Alvin Aragon has made his stand after he was compared to the other husbands of the SexBomb Girls. This was after Izzy Trazona was not able to join the successful series of concerts of the girl group.
He justified that it was God who made Izzy leave the group. It was her faith that prompted her to make the decision. Further explaining her stand from the standpoint of a husband, he expressed that he doesn’t want his wife to join the concert and flaunt her body for everyone to see. He wants her exclusively, and he wants to be the only one who can see through her figure.
Aragon even dropped specific names.
He said, “Sinasabi nila, ‘Buti pa ‘yung asawa ni Sunshine, Vice Governor, pinayagan sila mag-concert.’ Dapat nga hindi eh. Dapat nga, ‘yung asawa mo, ingatan mo. Hindi mo hahayaang mag-suot ng mga damit na para pagnasaan ng mga lalaki.”
Reacting to this after it created a loud buzz online, Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro refused to directly address the issue. According to him, he is facing more important matters than his statement. He instead expressed that they would just pray for the couple.
In a response to PEP, his text said:
“Good evening, Jojo, sorry ngayon ko lang nabasa. Kahapon ko pa nakita, pati yung video [ng interbyu kay Alvin], pero hindi ko na dapat patulan dahil mas madami akong mahalagang trabaho dito sa amin [smile emoji]. Ipagdasal na lang natin silang mag-asawa.”
Apart from this, the “StarStruck season one” alum is also facing a backlash from the LGBT community because of his remarks about his stepdaughter.
