David Licauco is looking forward to having a project again with Barbie Forteza
Kapuso actor David Licauco, who is tagged as Pambansang Ginoo, said that he is willing for the BarDa tandem to return on screen.
David and Barbie had an unexpected onscreen partnership in the defunct period series Maria Clara at Ibarra. Their tandem was first tagged FiLay, from their characters’ names, Fidel and Klay.
When that series ended, their loveteam continued, and they were officially called the BarDa tandem. Together, they did several projects. However, their onscreen partnership took a break.
David Licauco is now the leading man of Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward in the series Never Say Die. Barbie Forteza’s last leading man was actor Jameson Blake in the movie Kontrabida Academy.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante Entertainment, David Licauco was asked about the chance of having a reunion project.
“Yah, gusto ko naman siyang makatrabaho talaga,” the Pambansang Ginoo said. BarDa fans are still anticipating their project together, even though the actor’s tandem with Jillian is gaining popularity.
With this, BarDa fans expressed excitement. “Sabi ko na eh my reunion talaga yan., my comeback talaga mas hotter my kissing scene na yan,” a netizen commented.

Meanwhile, David Licauco shared in a previous interview how it was like having Jillian Ward as his leading lady. He said that she has so much respect for the Kapuso actress.
The actor also said that Jillian is “mabait,” and also humble and smart. David also noticed that his leading lady likes reading books on the set. He also mentioned that he had deep conversations with the actress.
