Fans React as Onemig Bondoc Pops the Big Question to Aiko Melendez
AIKO MELENDEZ – After years of what-ifs and second chances, Aiko Melendez and Onemig Bondoc may finally be writing their happily ever after.
Romance seems to be blooming beautifully for Aiko Melendez and Onemig Bondoc, and fans are now wondering if wedding bells will soon follow. “WILL you be my girlfriend?” was the straightforward question asked by Onemig Bondoc to Councilor Aiko Melendez in the former actor’s latest vlog uploaded on YouTube.
The two were at Haya Nature Resort in Botolan, Zambales, where Onemig did a food review with Aiko joining him to give a second opinion. It was noticeable that they shared similar tastes, as what Onemig found not so delicious was also the same observation Aiko had.
The resort itself appeared impressive, and despite a few comments on the food, Onemig still encouraged viewers looking for a weekend getaway to consider the place, describing it as peaceful and relaxing.
“Maganda ang beach and you can really enjoy it lalo na sa couples like us (sabay lagay ng kamay ni Uno sa likod ni Aiko), tama ba?” he asked the woman he had waited for 29 years.
A delighted Aiko playfully responded, “Yes.”
Not missing the moment, Uno followed up with, “Will you be my girlfriend?”
“Ha-hahahaha!” Aiko laughed.
“Basta aabangan na lang nila?” Onemig asked again.
“Ay hindi na nasagot ko naman na,” said the smiling councilor of Quezon City’s 6th District.
Onemig then teased further, “Will you marry me?”
“Ah, do’n sa vlog ko,” Aiko replied, hinting that viewers should watch her own YouTube channel for her answer to her boyfriend’s proposal question.
Onemig and Aiko are at a stage in life where they may not want to prolong their boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. Both are reportedly open to marriage, so they can fully enjoy life together as husband and wife.
When the idea of a wedding announcement was jokingly mentioned to Aiko during a chat, she laughed heartily.
Support for Onemig appears strong, especially after he admitted that his love for Aiko never faded over the past 29 years, despite having been in other relationships.
