Jack Argota Receives NBI Subpoena Amid Medical Record Controversy

NBI Takes Action Against Jack Argota Over Alleged Fake Medical Record

JACK ARGOTA – Social media personality Jack Argota has once again become a trending topic after confirming that he received a subpoena from the National Bureau of Investigation.

Vlogger and social media personality Jack Argota has reportedly received a subpoena from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). This development came after NBI Acting Director Lito Magno stated that the content creator could be issued a subpoena in connection with his alleged dissemination of a fake medical record of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.

On Thursday, February 5, Argota shared online that he was awaiting the arrival of the subpoena copy. “May SUBPOENA nako! Sa wakas dumating din haha!” said Sir Jack in his post.

He followed this with a message of thanks to the NBI for personally delivering the subpoena to his residence.

“Salamat National Bureau of Investigation sa paghatid dito sa bahay, may maikling kwentuhan at tawanan haha! See you mga Boss! #SirJackNBISubpoena,” he added.

In a separate Facebook post on the same day, February 5, the social media personality also questioned the details stated in the subpoena. According to him, it is his right to know who filed it, especially since it would require his time and attention.

Sir Jack said, “Nagbigay nga ng Subpoena pero walang nakalagay kung sino nag file? Karapatan ko naman siguro malaman yun kasi aabalahin nila ako tapos walang pangalan na nakalagay kung sino?

“Trippers yarn? Anyway haharapin ko yan nang in good faith, puro katotohanan lang ang sasabihin ko jan. Beysik!”

It can be recalled that Malacañang earlier expressed its intention to investigate the spread of misinformation and the alleged medical report of the President.

“Dapat lang, dapat lang tingnan ito dahil na po biro ang biruin ang kondisyon [ng] kalusugan ng Pangulo. Kaya po ang [National Bureau of Investigation] NBI, alam po natin na mabilis umaksyon ang NBI, para maimbestigahan kung sino po ang nasa likod nito,” said Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro during the PCO press briefing held on Thursday, January 29.

The issue has since drawn public attention online, with supporters and critics closely monitoring the developments surrounding the subpoena and the ongoing investigation.
