Bretman Rock made this revelation in a podcast
Filipino-American internet sensation Bretman Rock revealed in a recent podcast that he donated money to her old elementary school, but allegedly the principal almost pocketed the money.
In a TikTok promotional video in November last year, Bretman shared that he sent P555,000 to the personal account of the principal. According to the social media personality, the principal was silent about this, and the faculty members started to question what happened to the money.
Bretman said his mom intervened with the aim of protecting his son’s money. This revelation from the internet sensation caught the attention of the online community.

Following that podcast revelation that Bretman Rock made, the principal of his old elementary school released a statement. Through a Facebook post, Principal II Adelino Mahumot Pacris stressed that he never had the inkling to pocket the money.
Pacris also said that the donation was not personally offered by Bretman, but his team did it. He said that he was cautious, thinking that it could be a scam.
“So when a document was sent to me by this person with the denomination, ‘Release and Agreement’, I sought the advice of a lawyer since I was not expert on the matter and it contained provisions that I understand but I was afraid I could not correctly comprehend,” the principal said.
Pacris said that him a week or more to sign the document as he had to fully understand what was written on it. He also said that he reached out to the teacher, who is a relative of Bretman, to confirm this to his mother whether the donation was true or not.

“The mother answered in the negative but told her that she would ask her child. It took weeks before they confirmed that the donation was indeed true and informed us that the money had been sent to my account,” he explained.
Even though the money was remitted to this account, Pacris stressed that he had no intention of not disclosing this to the public. He said that he informed the faculty about this, and they discussed what they would do with the donation money. It was said that they agreed that it would be spent on new classrooms.
The principal said that they sought assistance from the Engineering Office of the LGU SANCHEZ MIRA for the preparation of the Program of Works. They waited for the project proposal. Then, the money was turned over to the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) for the implementation. However, he was informed that the classroom project would not push through.
“Instead, a different project has been decided upon. Thereafter, the total amount of Php 555,000 was withdrawn from my account and I turned over said money to the Treasurer of the PTA. I have proof to support my claims,” Pacris said.
The Principal said that he wanted ot clear his name because this has affected, not just him, but also his wife and their children. He pointed out that his conscience is clean and that he knew it was never mine to begin with.
“As school head, I would never do such thing. Since I have been assigned to my present school, I thought of nothing else but to better the school, to promote and encourage the PTA to implement projects that would benefit the pupils and the school in general,” he said.
The principal of Bretman Rock’s old elementary school hoped that the spreading of false information would stop.
