Bretman Rock shared a story about the principal from his old elementary school
Filipino-American internet sensation Bretman Rock revealed that the money he donated to his old elementary school was almost pocketed by the principal.
Bretman found success in the online community. He is one of the most followed social media personalities nowadays. Even though he and his family have been living in Hawaii for many years now, Bretman never forgets his Filipino roots.
In his videos and social media posts, he would always feature the Filipino culture and his personal stories with his “kababayans” and the times he spent in the Philippines.
In a recent podcast, one of the stories that Bretman Rock shared was about his old elementary school. He went to Sanchez Mira West Central Elementary School in Cagayan, and during the podcast, he shared that he donated half a million pesos to that school, and he directly sent it to the principal.
In his promotional TikTok video posted in November last year, Bretman talked about this and even to whom he sent the money, and the amount was P550,000.
However, other faculty members were questioning where the money was because the principal had not shared any information with them about this. One of the teachers even sent a direct message to Bretman regarding this.

He also shared that one of the teachers was his cousin, and so his mom called his cousin, saying that she wanted to talk to the principal. With that, Bretman said that his mother took over the handling of his donation money for the school because he did not want to be the one handling this.
“Mom really said, ‘You’re not about to get my f’ckin’ son’s money,'” the social media personality shared. This was shared on Reddit, and netizens lamented that corruption really happened after a person was given even just a small amount of power.
