Tricycle Taken by Co-Workers Caught on Camera in Calumpit, Bulacan
A tricycle owner was left shocked after his vehicle was taken by his two co-workers in Calumpit, Bulacan, an incident that was caught on CCTV.
Video footage showed the two men tampering with the tricycle’s wiring to start the engine. One of them drove the vehicle a short distance before stopping to pick up his companion. The tricycle then disappeared from the area, leaving the owner confused and worried about his source of income.
Police immediately reviewed the CCTV footage, which helped them identify the suspects. A follow-up operation led to the arrest of one of the men in Barangay Bukawi.

Authorities were also able to recover the motorcycle, while the sidecar was found at a junk shop where it had already been sold. The recovered tricycle was later returned to its rightful owner.
During questioning, the arrested suspect explained that they took the tricycle because they had no money to pay for their ride home. He admitted his mistake and expressed regret over what he had done, saying he never thought it would lead to such serious trouble.
The second suspect is still being searched for, and police continue their efforts to locate him. Both men are expected to face charges for violating the Anti-Carnapping Act, which carries heavy penalties.
