Sassa Gurl became close to Marian Rivera
Social media personality Sassa Gurl revealed the gift that he received from Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
Sassa had the chance to work with Marian in the movie Balota. In a past statement, the social media personality expressed how pleasant it was working with the Kapuso star.
She said that growing up gay, Marian’s iconic roles, Marimar and Darna, became a huge part of her life. With this, Sassa was so thankful that she was able to share the same screen with the Kapuso Primetime Queen.
Marian also had the same wonderful feeling working with Sassa, as well as another social media personality, Esnyr. The Kapuso star said that she wanted to work with them again. She admitted that she really had a lot of funny moments with the two social media personalities.
The three celebrities even had some TikTok videos together, which showed that they really treasured the bond that was created from the movie set. One of them was the trending Lambada dance that Sassa and Marian did.
That bond apparently continued even after making the movie. In a recent Instagram post, Sassa Gurl shared a video showing the gift she received from Marian Rivera.
The gift was a multicolored clutch from luxury brand Carolina Herrera, based on the article in GMA Entertainment.
“Thank you, Ate. Salamat sa pa-[birthday gift] mo and, of course, siyempre, sa lahat ng mga binigay mong opportunities, Ate. Love you! Mother talaga kita,” the social media star said.
Sassa Gurl flaunted in front of the camera the bag that she received with her signature “kanal humor.” In the comment section, Marian greeted Sassa. Director Tonet Jadaone also commented on Sassa’s post, saying that Marian is “forever generous.”
