Annabelle Rama Reacts To Eddie Gutierrez Death Hoax

Annabelle Rama says she is being prayerful amid fake news about her husband

Showbiz veteran Annabelle Rama had this reaction to the death hoaxes being circulated featuring her husband, veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez.

Late last year, actress Ruffa Gutierrez, the eldest daughter of Annabelle and Eddie, shared on her social media page that the veteran actor had a spinal surgery. She asked for prayers from the public, and their family received support.

The operation was a success. Then, early last month, Ruffa once again shared that the second operation was a success.

However, fake news surfaced claiming Eddie Gutierrez’s death. The veteran actor directly debunked the death hoaxes. “Buhay na buhay po ako. I’m still alive and kicking!” he said in a video.

Eddie is set to celebrate his 84th birthday on February 6. Abante entertainment writer Jun Lalin shared that Annabelle Rama is busy preparing for the intimate birthday party for their family and closest friends.

Lalin shared that they asked why Annabelle did not rant after the death hoaxes circulated online. The Gutierrez matriarch said, “Wala akong panahon sa mga taong inggit at gumawa ng intrigang patay na si Eduardo dahil hindi totoo ‘yan at lalo pa siyang lumalakas.”

Mas nagdarasal ako at pinagpapasalamat na mas nagiging okey si Eduardo,” she added. Annabelle Rama also said that those who were spreading fake news were just envious.

The showbiz veteran stressed that she was just grateful for everyone who continued praying for Eddie Gutierrez.

Meanwhile, in a previous interview, the Gutierrez matriarch also debunked the allegation that there is an issue between her and actress Barbie Imperial, the girlfriend of her son, actor Richard Gutierrez.

Just recently, Barbie also reacted to this allegation. She stressed that she and her Tita Annabelle are very okay.
