Rufa Mae Quinto Admits She Nearly Gave Up on YFSF Amid Personal Struggles
RUFA MAE QUINTO – Comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto revealed that there was a point when she almost walked away from Your Face Sounds Familiar because everything felt too overwhelming.
Rufa Mae Quinto admitted that there was a time she thought about quitting Your Face Sounds Familiar, saying, “Parang hindi ko na kayang ituloy,” but the comedienne is now celebrating a major milestone on the show.
The actress was overjoyed after finally securing her first win in the new season of the ABS-CBN reality talent competition. Rufa Mae was declared the winner during the 9th week of Your Face Sounds Familiar last weekend, where she transformed into American singer-songwriter Fergie.

The iconic comedienne performed Fergie’s classic hit “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” earning praise and a standing ovation from the judges as well as her fellow celebrity performers.
Congrats!” said Mr. Pure Energy.

Rufa Mae, who brought home a plaque and P50,000, reacted emotionally: “Alam mo kuntento na ako kahit isang beses lang. Thank you mga Ka-Familiars!”
Even before being declared the winner, the actress had already turned emotional after her performance.
So dito lang po sa ‘Your Face’ naramdaman ko from the audience, kayong lahat, sa director, from the EP to ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, in the upcoming weekend episode, Rufa Mae will impersonate OPM rock icon Kitchie Nadal. Jarlo Base will transform as “Your Face Sounds Familiar” host Vhong Navarro, Dia Mate as Gwen Stefani, and BGYO Akira Morishita as Ricky Martin.
