Barbie Forteza On Why ‘Until She Remembers’ Movie Is Challenging

Barbie Forteza talks about her upcoming movie

Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza revealed why making the movie Until She Remembers was challenging for her.

Barbie is now considered one of the talented actresses of her generation. She has been receiving good comments in her acting projects, especially after doing her Kapuso series Maria Clara at Ibarra.

One of the biggest acting projects that she has now is a movie under the direction of award-winning director Brillante Mendoza.

Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Barbie Forteza is expected to level up her performance in the movie Until She Remembers.

The Kapuso star shared that this movie is challenging since they had no script. “Challenging siya overall kasi ang aming napakahusay na direktor na si Brillante Mendoza ay wala pong script,” Barbie shared.

She shared that they were just given a prompt of what was going to happen in a scene. Every dialogue came from the actors.

One take lang si direk. Ang explanation niya kaya wala siyang script kasi gusto niya, ‘no acting acting’ talaga and very raw ang reactions and emotions ng mga actors,” the actress revealed.

She also shared that Direk Brillante wanted to see their reactions as the scene was unfolding, which was normally happening in real life.

In the movie, she plays the character of Angel, a 16-year-old lady who slowly learned the different types of love, including her connection to her grandmother, played by veteran actress Charo Santos.

Until She Remembers also features Boots Anson-Roa, Angel Aquino, Albert Martinez, Eric Quizon, and Vince Rillon. The movie will be released in cinemas on February 25.

Meanwhile, in an interview late last year, Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban shared that, for her, Barbie Forteza deserves to be the next “Rubi.” In 2010, Angelica starred in the Mexican TV series Rubi, which aired in 2004.
